Carbine/battle rifle fundamentals

Service Description

This course covers the fundamentals of combat marksmanship and manipulations of modern carbines and battle rifles. There are no prerequisites for attending this course other than maintaining a clean criminal record. Gear list: • Modern semiautomatic carbine or battle rifle chambered in either 7.62, 5.56, or 2.23 calibers • 350 rounds of rifle ammunition • Three magazines. pouches for magazines or chest rig is recommended • Rifle sling • Work-appropriate clothing: pants with pockets and belt loops (jeans, cargo pants, heavy work trousers), T-shirt or button-down shirt, belt for holster, sneakers, combat, or hiking boots • Eye and ear protection
