Carbine/battle rifle intermediate

Service Description

This course expands on the fundamentals of combat marksmanship adding on malfunction remediations, reloads and rifle manipulations as well as shooting positions including shooting on the move and from behind cover utilizing barricades. Prerequisites: Carbine and Battle rifle fundamentals is a prerequisite to attend this course. Gear list: • Modern semiautomatic carbine or battle rifle chambered in either 7.62, 5.56, or 2.23 calibers • 350 rounds of rifle ammunition • Three magazines • Rifle sling • Work-appropriate clothing: pants with pockets and belt loops (jeans, cargo pants, heavy work trousers), T-shirt or button-down shirt, belt for holster, sneakers, combat, or hiking boots • Eye and ear protection
